We are from CA, just bought a house in Monroe with a pond. We'd like to "stock the pond with fish". What's funny is I have never had anything bigger than a fish bowl so I don't even know where to begin. My husband is pretending to know the trick of this trade...to the ladies out there, you know how that is I'd like to get some browny points by giving him some guidance. Any suggestions on where to find a place to buy fish to stock the pond with or learn more about pond care?

Call the Union County Cooperative Extension Service/County Agent office. If they can't direct you I'd be very surprised

^ And if they aren't helpful, then contact the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, (ncwildlife.org), particularly the Division of Inland Fisheries.
