Hi everyone!
I'm moving to Charlotte in the next 30 days and looking for housing. I have luckily found about 5-6 complexes that have NO breed restrictions, but want to look at other options too. I have a flexible budget, but I would like to keep it as low as possible (less than 1200). I think I found all the places that have NO breed restrictions, but sometimes places don't have german shepherd or husky on the list and its just pitbulls and rottweilers.

If anybody knows of some places that have restrictions, but allow GSD and Huskies?
1. I am not giving up my dog so don't suggest it.
2. I already looked at private landlords but there are too many scams and coming from out of state makes it difficult.
3. I am not going to make her an ESA animal. Surely, there is a place that will accept her in all honesty.

If anybody has suggestions on property management companies that will rent houses that works too!

When we sold our house a couple of years ago we Only had 30 days to move and could not find anywhere in our area that accepted GSDs. We might as well had a tiger for a pet.

We eventually had to resort to saying she was a Belgian Malinois. Thankfully she is a small working line dog and a sable so she kind of looks like one. I am not recommending you do that, I’m sure you are opening yourself to potential issues by doing that. I was just amazed at the difficulty we had finding a place that would accept GSDs and that a Mali was not an issue at all.

Posted southend apartments will allow large breed dogs. But the rent will be $1400 or so.

Don't sign a long term lease anywhere you go. You may find that the places that don't have breed restrictions aren't in the best places in town.
