I am a Charlotte-based freelance writer working on an article about how more and more businesses are investing in Charlotte's University City area. Unlike other parts of the region, the area has something special to offer. In essence, U. City has a "coolness" that no other part of Charlotte has. With its young, hip and diverse population -- as well as a growing number of transplants from hip cities all over the country -- businesses are increasingly investing in U. City.

If you are a resident who moved to the U. City area within the past 10 years and fit one of the above categories (young, hip and diverse), I'd like to talk with you briefly for my article. I want to "put a face" on this issue. Please indicate if you are willing to be interviewed and how you may be reached. My deadline is April 14. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Charlotte writer
