I haven't heard many realtors speaking on the message boards this week. Does this mean buyers are coming out of their hidey holes and purchasing inventory?

Three homes in my neighborhood went under contract during spring break People must have been out househunting for sure.

My daily email alerts this morning on 3 subdivisions I am looking at showed a combined:

2 price changes (you can guess they were lowered)
1 new listing
2 under contract


So it seems to me there remains plenty of inventory on the market, prices are coming down, but houses are selling, ie all of the above.

We have a Realtor that we are working with.

I am from NJ and sold my house in 5 days(unheard of) and am seeing more under contract signs in my area recently. I am sure that is having a positive effect on your area as well since we northerners are flocking to NC like crazy. One couple looking at our house asked us where we were moving and they laughed saying that the last 4 houses they looked at in my town where all relocating to NC.
