I was at the HT today (Sept 10) at Colony & Rea and it was a complete madhouse.

First, you're listed as being in Charlottesville. Second, yes...pray for Wilmington...but it doesn't mean other areas inland won't get hit extremely hard too. Only takes one stray falling branch to land through a roof/window and destroy part of a house.

Instead of praying send a donation to the Red Cross or another disaster relief effort. That will actually help these folks.

Remember Hugo. If you weren't in Charlotte then, ask an old-timer.

The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Unfortunately, for many people they are. Instead of sending money they'll pray.

The problem is, of course, that one of these things can make a difference and the other is useless.

The two activities not being mutually exclusive aren't dependent on what people actually do or don't do. People can literally do both; that is objectively true.

Actually prayer isn't useless at all but I don't have time to engage in these assaults against religion and spirituality, especially since it's way off topic.

Last 2 updates has the storm eye shifted up the NC coast. NOAA is predicting just 2 inches of rain in Charlotte.
