I like that kind of reality though! My friend lives there, right on the top of St Thomas. Sure there are some things you have to give up, but the entire mood of there is "laid back and relaxed". My friend owns a pizza shop at Cruz Bay on St Johns. I think his biggest worry is whether or not he's going to catch the ferry on time.

oh I loved St. Thomas. Cant wait to get back there. I wasnt too impressed with St. Maarteen ; we drove all over the island ; saw good, bad and in between.

But Magens Bay ; now, that was a sight.

How is Raintree doing today? Which part of Raintree is Williamsburg? Is the social center the country club or can you be socially involved without being a country club member?

Trying to get some information on this myself. We are under contract in Williamsburg Raintree and so far what I've heard and what I've seen are not matching.

Have you looked in Providence Plantation? That is also a very established area.

We do live in a very established neighborhood in Union County and there are others that are in UC that are established, so I am not sure where you are getting that there aren't any.

Raintree fees into Providence High and most of Piper Glen feeds in to South Mecklenburg High, so if that matters to you, take a look first.
