I will be in Charlotte next month for 4 days.
I see that Allen Tate offers a Complimentary Tour.
Has anyone taken one of these tours? Does it bind you to using their realty company? I may use them, but at this time I have not made any decisions.

I feel sure "complimentary" means just that, and that you would be under no obligation to anyone for taking a tour. Seeing the city with a realtor is actually a very good idea I think.

Any Realtor can give a complimentary tour. Remember to find one you feel comfortable around and can gel with as you will be talking a good bit while house hunting.

I have not done a "Tour" with Allen Tate but we just returned from house hunting in the Charlotte/York SC area & Coastal SC..For family reasons we are choosing to go with Coastal SC but we had a wonderful (!!) experience with a realtor in Charlotte. If you are interested, please PM me so we don't upset forum etiquette.
