Default Maureen O'Boyle, news anchor

Everytime I watched WBTV news and saw Maureen O'Boyle, I kept thinking: "I know this woman from somewhere else." She seemed so familiar.
Well, DUH! I finally figured it out! She used to be on TV in NY (and nation wide) on "A Current Affair" and "Extra"! I had no idea she was from Charlotte!

I can't find the bio page I had for her, maybe I will post it later.

stmaarten - You're not the only person who thought "Where have I seen her before?" Someone had to replace Maury Povich. I bet she took a huge pay cut to come back to Charlotte! But I think I read somewhere, she was tired of the NY rat race and was glad to come back to her home area! Our gain!

That is so funny, St, as, as soon as I read her name in the title of your post, I thought to myself "that name sounds familiar".

I'm still in Jersey and I remember her. She is a good anchor/reporter. So many come and go!

I actually saw her in person one day last year. One word...wow!!! It was amazing how much better she looked in 3-D, LOL, kind of like a model, IMO.

I read your post and thought, "NY? She lived in LA!" I just did a search and see that I was indeed not losing my mind....she moved from NY to LA and lived there for many years.
