I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Betty Ross park in Lincolnton, particularly the community pool. Is it nice, clean and safe? Or if there are other nice community pools in Lincolnton/Denver area.
It's our only public pool, it's very popular.
There is a private pool at the Country Club that you have to be a member of.
Cherryville also has a nice public pool.

When you say "very popular" do you mean over crowded and dirty or very nice and everyone loves to go there?

By very popular, I mean that's where you go to swim unless you have lot's of money to join the Country Club, or you have a pool of your own....it's open to the entire PUBLIC....it's up to you if you consider that dirty....it is our recreation center, park, organized sports teams, swimming.....they DO clean the pool too! By the vibe I get from you, you should join the Country Club.
I don't think the pool is dirty at all. The lifeguards are very friendly, and the pool has a low cost of only $2... BUT, I have a question... does anyone know when the pool opens this summer?
I have yet to make it over to the pool at Betty Ross but I did go to Kool Park and it was a lot of fun.
We live on the east side of Lincoln County so it will take about 25-30 minutes to get to the pool...too far.
I believe the pool opens Memorial Day Weekend but not 100% sure.
Hey everyone! There's a great pool at the YMCA in Lincolnton. Lincoln County Family YMCA on East Gaston Street by the old hospital. Awesome place to swim and the outdoor splash pad opens in May! You have to be a member to go there or go with a Y member but it's so worth it. They have a new My Y Pricing guide that makes the Y affordable to all!
