I am from Michigan and looking to move to Charlotte. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding decent priced and relitively safe apartments close to the Carolinas Medical Center??

I would like to stick around that price range but, i am at a total loss in what area to live in. I want to work at one of the major hospitals and drive no more than 20 min. to work. Any sugestions on a good area??

Theres a lot of apts. in the Universty Area near Carolina Medical Center-University. For a one bedroom though, nice spot, it'll probably be around 560 and up

Trying to rent a one bedroom apartment in Charlotte in a nice area under $600. is pretty hard. You could do like the prior poster suggested and work in one of the other hospitals which are in the surrounding areas instead of uptown and possibly find a one bedroom under $600. I would not, however, suggest renting anything under $500 anywhere in Charlotte or you will be in very unsafe areas.
