We are moving to Charlotte during the summer and were wondering if people had recommendations on daycare, preferably from personal experience?
Specifically, we are looking in either Dilworth / Uptown area or Mallard Creek / Concord Mill area, due to commute situation. Huntersville is also a potential area, although a bit of a stretch for the commute, but willing to go there for any uniquely great daycare.
In terms of what we are looking for in a daycare, our kid would be in the toddler program, but we are looking for a daycare facility that focuses on early education, not just having people watch the kids.
We searched previous forum threads on this topic, and found recommendations for Concord Children's Academy and Kids 'R' Kids in Mallard Creek, but not much else, including very little info about places near Dilworth/Uptown, as well as Huntersville.
I'd still recommend Concord Children's Academy and my nieces attend Goddard and I've heard great things. There's also Primrose which also gets good reviews in our neighborhood (we are near Concord Mills).
I would recommend looking into Dilworth Child Development Center on East Boulevard. I had both my boys there before they started school. It's been some time since then, but there are still some of the same directors there now as then. I absolutely loved everything about it!
Thank you kemokaze and Riley09swb for your recommendations. We'll be sure to look into those places.
Anyone else willing to share their recommendations or personal experiences on daycare in the Dilworth / Uptown area, Mallard Creek / Concord Mill area, or Huntersville?
Whatever you do DO NOT use the Rainbow Childcare on Prosperity Church. There is a Goddard right on Mallard creek.
