Default what to do after sunday rush show

Rush is playing on a freaking Sunday at 7:30PM in July in Charlotte. Show should be over by 10PM. So, I got tickets for the show, and would like some advice on where to hang out afterwards. Here are some of my ideal criteria:

a) Single women and men aplenty, ages 24-36.
b) Good selection of local and imported beers.
c) Food other than burgers and other diner food. I'd like something semi-nice, if available! Not Southern food, please!!!
d) Fairly laid-back environment with no d-bag jocks.

Why are these criteria so much to ask for anymore?

TIA,

bubbis

Sorry, would love to help you, but Sunday nights are kind of slow in Charlotte. I know there must be a few places around though I sure can't think of any at the moment. Anybody else got something to add???

Okay, I found this link for you - you could check with these places ahead of time to see what their Sunday nights are like:

Thanks, lovesMountains, that gives me some options that I hadn't seen thus far. Hated to be a whiner and bump the thread, but I'm not familiar with Charlotte and, like I said, I'd expect any big city to have its night spots --even on Sundays.

Regards,

bubbis

Go home and enjoy the one your with. This is not a 24/7 hour city. Food establishments will be closed at that time besides maybe a few bars and I am not sure which ones.
Whatever is open in that area will have slim pickings to your above criteria
You could check out that brand new bar owned by Dale Earnhart JR at the Epicentre called "Whiskey River" (uncertain of the hours)

Sheesh, this is looking like the typical Southern city with regards to singles: lame as hell. Oh, well, no surprise there...

Thanks for the information anyhow, Sunny.

Bubbis - this is a more "family oriented" city - which most of us love, though this does make it a bit harder on the many singles here. Still, after looking at that link I posted there are several on there open until 2 AM on Sunday night. Where is this concert being held?

Yeah, I was afraid of that... Thanks for letting me know so I can respectfully get out of dodge after the show.

Please pardon the irritation, but I'd expect more of a singles scene in such a large city --no matter what day of the week it may be. I planned to see the show with my two friends for whom I bought tickets, and then spend all sorts of money downtown on food and drinks; guess that isn't going to happen.

Anyway, to answer your question, the concert is at Verizon Amphitheater... I'm seriously considering selling my tickets now if I can only expect a good time to come from the show and nothing else.

Let me ask you now: Do you all have one of those backwards laws like SC that prohibits me from buying alcohol on Sundays?
