Has anyone heard if the rezoning of Sun Valley students to Weddington was approved at the board planning meeting last night?

no the school board voted yesterday Have no idea when they plan on posting it to their website, as other schools are affected as well....

We were told that Brookhaven is now going to Weddington.

Everyone West of Potter Rd will be assigned to Weddington Middle and High Schools (that includes Brookhaven). Those East of Potter Rd will remain at Sun Valley.

So then Colton Ridge and the surrounding communities will remain at SV? If that's the case, many people will be very happy.

I heard it from someone who spoke to a BOE member. Still waiting for the "official" notice.
