I just watched the news and they talked about the rise in gun sales and gun classes. It looks like people are taking matters into their own hands!

Also there is a community meeting at Providence Day school tomorrow from 10-12 with the police force and gang officials to talk about the increase in home invasions. Hopefully some good comes out of it. They also told people to write to their congressmen to change the judicial system in Charlotte. It sounds like a good place to start.

I think we are gonna have to start writing letters, attending meetings - whatever it takes. It appears people are FED UP. Something has to change! I am gonna be writing my letters! Well, I have already been writing some letters, but whatever it takes . . .

I've seen tasers for sale.

Apparently the radio show, The Firing Line, on WDYT 1220 AM at 8am Saturdays is going to be talking about my email about home invasions. I'll be interested to hear what they have to say.

Glad to hear this news is being spread through media. Hopefully the word will get around. Good to hear you are acting, ani, and as soon as I get back to Charlotte I am planning on writing letters and attending meetings if they are held when I'm home.

BTW, the word WILL get around when the victims start shooting back at these criminals. Like James Gregory (comedian) recently said, "the day these kids stop shooting up their schools and killing classmates, is the day the teachers start shooting back!"

Thank you Barkingowl.

I have been thinking of getting a taser. Here, getting a gun is a major production which I dont care to do. However, I can have all of the tear gas & pepper spray that I want, as long as the containers are small. I know some states allow pepper spray but don't allow tear gas. If I can't have the tear gas when I get moved, I'll look at tasers.
