Also you get use to things very quickly, so after a year the traffic may be an issue. I have been working in S Charlotte for two years the first year was okay I delt with it, this year the traffic has doubled and I am frustrated everyday before my workday even begins. Thinking a few years into the future something will have to give, I will either move or find a job closer to home (the later may not even be possible)...I love my neigborhood but it's frustrating to say the least.

We just bought in Brookhaven. We decided that we wanted a John Wieland home and started focusing on those subdivisions. Every time we looked at Bridgehampton we felt like the homes were overpriced or we were going to be stuck doing a lot of work. The amenities at Brookhaven are great and there are a ton of kids. I also liked that you could get a new home. There is one other reason that swayed us towards Brookhaven...pm me for details.

I haven't been to Brookhaven yet. How does it compare to Weddington Chase?
