"Police have also arrested more people - 9.5 percent more than this time last year. Those arrests include eight people officers believe were involved in a series of home break-ins where thieves kicked in the door."

I hope this will help, but I think there must be another group of thugs out there, since the break-ins have continued. I do believe CMPD is doing all they can to address the crime issues - and they need our help - as alert neighbors and homeowners - to catch these miscreants.

I 100% agree, and get the feeling that those who bravely protect and serve and very frustrated.

there was a big article about their frustations last year..that was before the 37% increase in home invasions this past year! I can harldy imagine how they feel so they too need to put pressure on keeping these guys in jail too.

IF the cmpd have made 9% more arrests this year, is the percentage that all of those arrests are out of jail 90%. It must be really disheartening to continue to put your life on the line by arresting these thugs time and time again and for them to be back on the streets. What is the motivation to keep arresting them? Since so much light has been shed on these issues, I am hopeful that they will be corrected
