NCDREAMING is on a distinguished road
Default Cedarfield

Hello I was wondering if anybody had any more info on this subdivision. It seems like they have some nice sized lots and it is convenient to lake norman and birkdale. Are there any negatives about this neighborhood I am not aware of?

About all have a wooded established back yard. There is a pool for each section and They do have a neighborhood swim team something that might interest your little when they get older.
Here is a link to HOA assesment and they are firm but not strict assessments
It covers mainly pool maintance, neighborhood lawn care which they do a good job and other items

Here is a link to the Cedarfield Sun a neighborhood newspaper that is put out monthly to get a better understanding and it is put in your neigbhorhood flyer box beneath your mailbox.
Cedarfield Plantation Sun

It list latest neighborhood happenings, local entrepenuers , baby sitters, baby co op, teens willing to mow your yard. I have used this service for lawn and a guy to work on my computer it is nice to help my neighborhood.

There is two fields one I have been seeing little kids play soccer and older teens play football, and during the summer they have a movie screen setup to catch a movie on the grass.

The left side of cedarfield is bordered by a greenway and every so cul de sac has a entrance to this plus the main entrance off of Bradford Hill Drive.
I learn this the hard way lol I was not familiar with the street and living here for 6 years I still dont know what street empties to what lol I learn that 3 right turns do not equal a circle but much deeper in a cul de sac. That is when I learn that if you find a sidewalk you can find your way out.

It is very quiet neighborhood and least my neighbors are very friendly and to me I like the location because it easily accessible to back roads that you may need to know in case of interstate backups.

To get a feel of how large this development is look at this map http://maps.google.com/maps?rls=com....num=1&ct=image
It covers the north side of mcilwaine road to Mccoy Road on the east to Macintosh Road on the west
and everything inside that area up to Gilead Road.
Im not certain but I think Angel Oak is what seperates I and II, you get the same benefits just different pool use.

The other neighborhoods you mention are nice choices in case you lean back on them.
Another recommindation that is similar to Cedarfield and amenities is Wynfield it is across the street from Cedarfield on Gilead with similar amenities. it pretty much everything that surrounds Wynfield Creek Pkwy.
Here is the link to photos I have taken of the area.
Newcomer Photo Guide to Lake Norman and surrounding area

I like Huntersville because everything feels new it really did not see it growth til the 90's I feel like I am part of an up and coming area.
