Ok I have lived in area since god knows when. I just bought a new car stereo and now I am able to pick up Greenville Spartanburg stations and now I can program more into my new stereo.
I just like a little variety I have never listen 93.3 to 95.7 The Ride until my new stereo was put in and it not half bad not as good as 99.7 but decent enough.
I also enjoy the songs played on 97.3 out of Wilkesboro as well.
I am trying to program my stereo with as many stations that are enjoyable since I get 18 choices what do you recommend and if you have a station that is not in the area but you can pick up the signal feel free to share.
Radio Stations in Charlotte NC If the fm list is missing anything feel free to share that as well.
If you like any of these SC stations and can pick them up feel free to share.

Plus I like to get my dose of John Boy and Billy in the mornings and Candy and Potter in the evenings. It has mp3 and Ipod hookups but I am trying to check out the "new" radio stations that I am now getting.

Sunny - I'm the same way about setting up a car stereo. I have a CD player and never use it. I found an excellent source of material for setting your radio stations.

Radio-Locator

You input your zip code and it will tell you a lot of good information on the radio stations available in your area. You can change some of the search parameters also. Have fun! Keep a few buttons "empty" so you can add a few "unique" stations for vacation travelling!

Depending on where you live you might be able to pick up 88.7 WNCW out of Spindale. (WNCW.org) It is an award winning public radio station. They play a very eclectic mix of music. They had a transmitter at the Colwick Tower in Cotswald but lost their lease. Currently they are looking for another location. From the web site it sounds like they are getting close to finding another spot for their tower. When its up and running they broadcast from 100.3. Check out WNCW its a nice change from commercial radio.
