Here's the thing...there is only ONE school district in all of Charlotte and Mecklenburg county. If you live anywhere in Charlotte or the county you go to Charlotte/Mecklenburg schools. Here in Charlotte we have "neighborhood schools". Your child will go to the school your neighborhood is assigned to, if they go to public school. While there are good schools all around the city and county - the biggest concentration of good schools is in south Charlotte itself.
