Our old riding lawnmower had a cupholder built in. Definitely put that to use. Neighbors used to supply the beer if it was empty while we mowed. Key Light is a great beer for the task! Ahh, takes me back to my college days...

The best gardening beer, by far, is Fosters. It has to be ice cold so, put one in the freezer five minutes before your ready. AAHHHHH

I've got to give Doc some love, you just can't beat "The Beast" for the price when you're really hard up for just a cold beer!! Also, can Strohs not get some love??

When I was a kid (long time ago) this beer jingle went "nothing else comes near, when your out of Schlitz you're out of beer". This beer was popular in Lake City Fla. at the time. I remember my dad and his friends enjoying these after yard work.

DH just corrected me. He said St. Paulie Girl is not so cheap. He is loving this list, tho and wants the cup holders, Hee Hee.
Now our next door neighbor - he only drinks Busch in bottles, so we make sure we have that occasionally on the weekend so we can do some outside conferring in between yard work.
Yes, Foster's is wonderful, really really cold. DH made the mistake of forgetting he had left one in the freezer, tho. You really don't want to know that story.

Yes, I had a Fosters explosion just last week. Turns out it must have dripped down into the kids freezie pops (those ice sleeves). My daughter and her five friends discovered this as I went out like the good lil mom offering ice pops to the neighborhood kids on a hot day. You can imagine the rest........
So far, none of the parents have asked me to leave

Be carefull, did you see the dad who bought his kid a lemonade at the ballgame, turned out it was a Mikes Hard Lemonade. Child services took his kid away. Tax dollars at its finest.

This thread reminds me of a little song that's a favorite amongst some ER nurses I know. It's "Three Beers and a Chainsaw" sung to the tune of "Three Coins in a Fountain". I'm sure you can imagine what inspired this little ditty. Ah, the dark humor of ER nurses. Gotta love it. Enjoy your beer, gang, but let's be careful out there!
