I wanted to hear from someone who's moved to the Charlotte area from Los Angeles. How are you finding it? Do the pro's outweight the cons. We currently live in a beach city outside LA and are looking to get away from the traffic and congestion. We're also looking forward to getting a larger single family house (which we won't be able to do anytime soon here). From what we hear, people are more friendly and there's more of a sense of community in NC. We have small children and would like to provide the best environment for them. All opinions good and bad would be appreciated.
Thanks

Not from LA but have several clients who have relocated to the area from CA and love it here. Only thing they seem to miss is the dry air.

Almost all of them are shocked at what they can purchase for their dollar. Many, many communities catered towards families with amentities and planned events.

I can setup a property search and send you an information package if you would like.

Best Wishes

I just wrote you this long and nicely written reply (if I do say so myself ) but then managed to delete it So this is now going to be alot shorter.

We moved from LA county (beach city) to Tega Cay, SC (just outside Charlotte, NC) just about 3 years ago.

For us there are no con's...only pro's.

If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

Good luck to you!

HI i moved from long beach to charlotte last year. so far i like it less traffic and very clean city. Los angeles has more things to do but charlotte is more natural. Nice parks, lake and rivers. Your still close to the beach and mountains. One thing is the weather in l.a. is a lot better but then again l.a. has the best weather in the USA. One more thing l.a. has better shopping. But i like charlotte a lot more the Los Angeles.
