Seeking info on sports (Matthews, Weddington: chapel, wedding, school district)

My family has moved into the Kensington school district from upstate New York. We have 2 boys who were very involved in sports. Our 9 year old made majors this year in baseball, but was unable to play due to moving. I am seeking information on who,when and where to register him for baseball....I am also looking into information for basketball as well. Our other son is 8 years old and plays football and wrestles. Any information on these sports will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the baseball program through WCWAA is incredible. My son is in the minors and will probably be going up to the majors in the fall. We really enjoy it. He was also chosen to play in the challenge tournament sponsored by another organization. There are many opportunities through WCWAA.
BTW...welcome to NC. We moved here from NY in Nov.'06.

You can also try MARA (Matthews Area Recreation Association) - Matthews Athletic & Recreation Association - News
They have a great baseball program, as well as basketball and football. Olde Providence (though this might be too far for you) also has baseball, soccer, and football. OPRA Sports - powered by Oasys Sports
