It's the grossest thing I have ever seen in my life.

I was curious about this insect so I just googled it. It says if you find these around you shower, it is a sign of a possible leaking pipe. Plus they are found in moisure areas. You may want to check that out as with my new house we had a leaking pipe the first week, it just needed to be tightened.

This is a problem in every house in the community. The land was a farm and these "pests" have made it home the last several weeks. Centex is aware of the problem and many homeowners are purchasing a pest service.

I couldn't care less about the small critters. What I'm really interested in is if there is a black bear infestation like there is around here.
Those bruins are pretty skittish, but menacing none the less. If anyone wants to hear close encounter stories with those big ones, I have several.
My kids are looking forward to being able to sleep in the backyard in a tent, which we won't allow now.
Any worries?

I live in site of Fieldstone Farms. Have lived here off and on for 70 years. There are no significant critters that you need to be concerned about. A raccoon at the most. A 'possum may stroll by on ocassions, but you don't need to worry about skunks, etc. We do have poisonous snakes in the wooded area, but with preparations, that is not a problem. A person just needs to learn to recognize the "bad guys"
