Default Birthday party places for a 5 year old

Hey There,
I'm looking for a fun place in either Matthews or Charlotte to have my sons 5 year old b'day party. Any suggestions for someplace that can accomodate like 25 kids?

We've been to several at Space Kidets and all the kids love it (inflatables and arcade room): Space Kidets
Pump It Up: Kids Birthday Charlotte, (NC) North Carolina | Indoor | Inflatable | Jumping Party | Childs Bounce Party | Family Entertainment | Pump It Up

If you like bowling, AMF Carolina Lanes is fun:
Carolina Lanes Bowling Center - Matthews, NC - AMF Bowling

Sports Connection Ballantyne is a huge hit (bowling, laser tag, inflatables)
Sports Connection

I'll try to think of some more and get back to you.

Hey Marbl,
That's awesome! Thanks so much. I had no idea there's a Pump it Up in Charlotte. We'll have it there for sure! Talk soon!

My youngest just turned 5 and we had just 15 children and had Pump it up all to ourselves...it was GREAT!

Check out Space Kidets in Matthews too. My daughter had her party there, and all my guests said it was one of the best birthday parties they had ever been to. It is just like Pump it Up. The owner is very nice and accommodating.

I had my sons at Monkey Joes. It was a good party but very hectic and overwhelming for parents of 5 year olds (at least for me). I went to space kadets and loved that much much better. More contained and I think not open to the public too!

We also had my 6 yr old daughters at Space Kidets. It was AWESOME!

Is private so you don't share it with the public. The kids loved it because they ahve the inflatables but there is also an arcade they loved that the games are left on-they don't require tokens or coins. The owner is ver nice and accomadating. We didn't lift a finger. The assistance made sure all the kids used hand sanitizer. Very clean adn colorful and new.

It is across from Target on 51 in Matthews by that Chinese place.

It looks great...but, do you pay extra since it's private? I've been to parties at Pump it Up and have been pleased with the staff and the parties. Space Kidets looks great too...just not sure what the advantage of going to private vs. public? They all look fun--I wish they had these when I was a kid, lol!

The problem with a public place, like Monkey Joe's, is that your kid and the kids from the party are playing with potentially hundreds of other kids. It's kind of hard to keep track of them all when it's like that. Only the party room (for cake) is private. You would also have the issue of the kids needing to use a public restroom. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I go to the restroom with my 5 year old, and definitely don't want him using a public restroom that anyone could be in!! At the private party places, only the kids from your party will be there. No weirdos to worry about!! I think they have a better time when it's just their friends. Much more manageable for the parents, too!!! Worth every penny!
