Just odd that one report (MarketWatch) indicates that Charlotte is the number one city, this year, to live and, at the same time, Forbes reports it as the ninth most miserable city to live in the U.S.:

This is why such lists are there, at least for me, as entertainment fodder. Who comes up with these statistics? Maybe true, or not, but such statistics can be spun in a positive or negative way for a lot of cities, I imagine.

Anyway, congrats Charlotte on the MarketWatch accolade. Sorry 'bout the Forbes summation.

It is funny isn't it? The front page of msn yesterday had links to both articles in their revolving slide at the top. Shows you a bit about the perspective of each author.

Stats are stats but your right, change the dialog around them and the whole conversation changes.
