I am going to ask why are you asking?

I used to live there and still go to Izzy's on a regular basis.

than you for referring me to the other post.

There is an Irish Dance School located in this shopping area. That is why I am asking.

So after reading the other thread, I take it that it's not a place that I would feel comfortable dropping my young daughter off in the parking lot and having her walk between the buildings to get to her dance class then?

The shopping center is fairly safe. I have been going to Izzy's since they opened, used to go to the Harris Teeter and Eckerd Drugs all the time. Never had a problem with my car or personal items.
I do not go in the area late at night. I don't think I would just drop your young daughter off without walking her to the dance studio.

What about the apartments across the street....and I am not talking about Providence Square. Isn't there a housing project directly across the street at the intersection of Providence Rd & Old Providence Rd...or has it been torn down? There use to be. Don't really go to that area often.

During they day nothing to worry about, youths tend to hang around once it gets dark.

It is safe during the day. However, I would walk my young daughter between those buildings - would only drop her off if I could actually see her go in the door of the dance school. (But I would do that ANYWHERE!)
