I'm going to be selling my house and my realtor suggested I install granite countertops so I'm looking for the least expensive retailer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I used the $39 Granite Company and they were great. My father and I had them install into 2 houses we renovated and I will use them again soon as we are doing the same thing as you (getting ready to sell).
If you do a quick search for granite on this board you will come up with a lot more options.

That price includes everything (per sq.ft.). They have 10 different colors to choose from.
They must be local b/c the showroom ( which I have not visited) is in Charlotte and the letterhead had a Charlotte address and they have it cut and everything here in Charlotte.
The installers were awesome.
I found a recent thread here on them and a few more when I did a search.
Hope they help!

Panda Kitchen installs pre-fab granite... It's cheap but you get what you pay for & usually have sloppy seams... I've worked with two different granite installers and both did a great job.

The first is Universal Construction. It's a small business but they offer granite at $35/sq foot for certain colors and they always make it right. You can see the website @ Universal Construction

The second is Queen City Countertops. They offer more than granite including marble, Ceasar Stone, Ice Stone, etc. You can see the website @ Queen City Countertops . Charlotte . NC . Granite.

I would recommend both to anyone as I've never had a bad experience with either company.
