I will be visiting my daughter who recently moved to Oakboro. It will be dad and daughter special time and with that have a brunch. Looking for the best BLT sandwich in the Charolette area along with a good Bloody Mary. Like a place with character too.
It's our Dad and Daughter thing.
Tammy's Oakboro Restaurant on Main Street is an old school option and the prices are from a by gone era! BLT sandwiches for less than $5! Oakboro is a small town, so there aren't a ton of options.
200 North Family Restaurant in Locust is another one to check out and not too far of a drive from Oakboro. Family owned place.
NoDa/Plaza Midwood are the core areas where a lot of great sandwiches are made (NoDa Bodega, Rhino Market, Deli St), will most likely have options for alcoholic drinks, and are closer to what I think you mean by "Charlotte area".
I'm not sure what kind of "character" you're looking for but Charlotte has options so I don't think you'll be disappointed.
A BLT...... Bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo and toasted bread (maybe a bit of salt and pepper). Most places can toss one together easily, so I'd look for the place with a good Bloody Mary first.

About the only thing that can make a BLT other than a "usual" BLT is the bread, ie. rye. Bloody Mary's always go with a BLT, but so does vodka.
I would just go to Publix or Harris Teeter, and get the fixings, and make one.
Publix and Harris Teeter don't sell the alcohol for Bloody Marys.
