I currently have Time Warner Cable and Road Runner. I use Vonage VOIP and basically its shoddy. Voice quality is not good and of course whenever the cable goes out so does the phone.

So as much as I wish I didnt need to, I think I need a land line. Can anyone recommend a phone company that offers unlimited calling for a flat rate?

Why not just get a cell phone. Cricket is local and unlimited.

Verizon offers unlimited calling for a flat rate. But, I left Vonage a long time ago for Skype. Check out their website, awesome special running until the end of the month. I love it.

Call Wave is also web based but more cost effective. But oh so nice to have options ... . Ever feel overwhelmed by the choices?

Receiving eFaxes is fine. What about sending? For that you need a landline, no? If I need to fax something I signed don't I need a land line and a fax machine?

Can you send faxes via Call Wave? and is it unlimited? Could not find the direct answer on the website.

Might be time to change.

Thanks

We have Windstream and did away with Cable. I know Bell South offers a package too..not sure what is available in your area. We live in Union. It is cheaper than Time Warner and I have unlimited calling, DSL for net (which is comparable from what I can see to cable) and DISH service (more channels in EVERY room for much less than cable). Good luck..I was told to try vonage but had too many mixed reviews from others. Depends on area I guess?
