Entertaining BIL (for you vindaloo ) and wife (yawn!) so we're taking the family out to Gaffney and outlet shopping!

Thinking about Carowinds, but I think it's suicide to go this weekend!

Family is in town all weekend, speedstreet concerts on Fri, race on sunday, and sometime to catch the new Indy film... not sure about monday yet though

Oh, I would think Carowinds will be crowded but hey - you never know! Maybe others will stay away thinking it will be crowded!!!!

There should be some good sales going on in Gaffney . . .

We have been contemplating heading to Speedstreet . . . nice to just stroll around, check things out and then enjoy the music . . .

My DH is coming to NJ to see me and the boys for the weekend, Yeah!!!!!!! Then he will be back again in a month to bring us down to Charlotte with him for good. By the time it's over it will have been a very long 6 months.

Have friends visiting and going to speedstreet and then the race! I am excited since I am new to the area to check out these things.

Race City Usa will probably have a booth setup, if so pick up one of their flyers it has a great map for checking out the race shops, go cart tracks and other race related places.
