Just wanted to let you guys know that Im finally in Charlotte. The trip to charlotte wasnt so smooth.. First my Penske truck wouldnt go over 40 in the mountains in sc. Then I caught a tornado in SC that almost flippled my truck. Finally when I arrived at the house Duke energy forgot to send someone to the house. I ended up having no electricity for 2 days...

But now all is AWESOME!!! Just missing GAS!!

Congradulations

You really dont need gas unless you have a gas stove til around October and that is maybe or maybe not month with temperatures.

I cannot help to laugh about all weekends you move to that area that you chose this one.
Order take out or delivery in that area but you will get to see the traffic glory for that area tomorrow afternoon but hey it a good time to unpack.

Glad things went sort of smooth for you and Welcome to the area!

Hey, Luis! You don't realize it but we were posting asking where you were earlier this week!!! We have been watching to see when you got back.

Dern - that is plain horrific - getting in the path of a tornado and nearly flipping. I hope your stuff wasn't damaged and so glad you got here in one piece.

I bet you have a gas hot water heater, Hee Hee. Cold showers.

Well, glad you are here and hope you get all the details in place and can get settled in. Like Sunny said . . . traffic up your way is gonna be challenging so hang on!!!

Oh and one more trip thing , Penske had me stop at one of their shops in SC - Lets just say i felt like i was in the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The mechanic had no teeth, grease all over face and looked like a serial killer...

Y'know, the people I used to work with in Charlotte warned me about those people with poor dental hygiene!

Don't worry about not having gas...the Charlotte CD forum will take care of that. You gotta lot of catching up to do!

Welcome to Charlotte! Is Charlotte for you?!
