What about a Long Island Ice Tea?? Kinda forgot off hand everything in it. I know there is rum and coke and other drinks. You can't drink too many, as they really hit hard. (Well I can't) Few years ago we went to Lake George, and took a boat ride I had 3 of them, between the waves and the drinks, I can't remember getting home. But they really were good.

I was hoping we could figure out a drink that would be solely something from CLT . . . incorporating local flavors . . . you are on the right track. Aw heck - I just remembered - you know this stuff - you are a professional!!!

Have you ever had Cheerwine??? It is a cherry based drink but not as sweet as most of those sodas . . . not quite Dr. Pepper, not quite Cherry Coke, but not sugary sweet like most cherry soda. I am wondering if we could mix up something using Cheerwine . . . and make it a signature drink for Charlotte. Or - just at my house, LOL!!!!

Oh Ani, I am sure I could mix a few more things with the Amaretto and come up with something. Wish I saw this over the weekend. LOL

sun drop, huh? i haven't thought of that, i'll have to give it a try...usually i will mix parrot bay, coke and cherry jack (cherry rum) together, but the cheerwine means less cherry jack and more parrot bay in the drink!
