Question for Real Estate Brokers and pocket cards (schools, license)

I'm about to (finally) take my post brokers course the first of the three classes. I just payed for the renewel fee but I can't find my pocket card-
My question is should I wait for my new pocket card to come in the mail ?
I'm on inactive status and haven't needed it. I'm concerned I'll need it for my brokers class- can anyone tell me if you need to bring your pocket card to class? I'm taking the class at CPCC and it doesn't state in the course description that you need to have it at class but I have heard you do need it at other schools.
Any help would be appreciated!

Go to NC REC's website, log in to your personal information using your license # and pin # (usually the last 4 of your SS), as if for example you were just about to renew your license, click on 'print duplicate' pay $5 via CC and you can print a new one for yourself within a matter of minutes..
