Italian Restaurant in Troutman???
I seem to remember a while back someone posting a nice thread telling the story of an Italian Family coming from up north somewhere and opening an Italian Restaurant in Troutman (I THINK). For some reason I seem to remember a newspaper article about them also.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about and has anyone been there? Tell me about it!
Thanks,

Hi, Jake!
I think this may be the restaurant you are referring to, as it caught my eye here in the forum, too, but I have not been there (and am not sure it is even opened yet . . .???)

Hi..My two older brothers are opening up...hopefully Monday. They are receiving their final inspection today. It took longer than anticipated, but everything has come together quite nicely. Troutman will be more than pleased.

We've lived in Huntersville for 8 years and was wondering why would I drive all the way to Troutman for anything. It's a 17 mile drive up the interstate. We only go to Northlake 7 miles about twice a year. With all the min-shopping areas areound (NorthCross, Birkdale, Rosedale, etc) in Huntersville, there is no reason to travel. Ditto for restaurants. Just my $.02.

I travel to other cities to eat, if it is something I really like. I regularly go out of town to get my BBQ fix, LOL.
