So we are just talking a manicure, right? Buffing and using oils instead of polish??? Or am I missing something?
Yes, that is the most natural, but there are also 'natural' nail products on the market...without formaldehyde and solvents and such. Again...I don't know if those products really count as 'natural'...they must be still made of something.
My husband gave me pedicures when I was preggers! I loved it! Maybe you should do that for your wife (go with clear or glitter polishes at first until you get the hang of it).

If she wants to do it at home, if she can, or she can bring it with her, there's a brand called Anise that I've bought online from their site & also discovered the shoe warehouse DSW carries it. It's free of toulene, formaldehyde, & DBP (which they say is the main one when you are preggie). I use it all the time (not pregnant) & bring it with me to my salon. I don't know why any of the salons would want to be around all those smelly chemicals when there are lots of other options. If you go to ewg.org & click on cosmetics & then nail polish you can see all the brands & which are the healthiest.
