My husband and I are moving to Charlotte this fall and will soon after be welcoming a German Shepherd puppy to our family. We would like to find a good trainer with references for basic/intermediate/advanced obedience training. We are open for both private and/or group lessons. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you!

We used Highland Canine for our dog training needs - they definitely tailor the courses around your specific needs.....you can either take your dog to their facility or they'll come to you for 1-on-1 sessions
Dog Training NC, Dog Trainers at Highland Canine

We used The Dog Wizard, The Dog Wizard, Dog Training Charlotte NC, Charlotte NC Dog Training they are absolutely amazing! We had a 3 year old black Lab who was so difficult. The Dog Wizard is pricey, but they do unlimited private lessons, AND unlimited group lessons on Saturdays. They will go to your house, place of business, parks that you frequent, basically anywhere where your dog is going to be. I have told many people about them, and they have all had great success. Haven't walked my dog with a leash in almost 2 years! PM me if you would like to discuss further!

k9karetrainer.com specializes in German Shepherds and gets amazing results. She also cares about the community and dogs at risk. She runs a non-profit called Missing Pet Recovery Services and finds peoples lost pets with GSDs she saved from being euthanized for behavioral issues by training the to search for lost pets.
