Do you want to be in the middle of it all or away from it?

Upper Class? The Point in Mooresville, hands down. Also Governor's Island, Sailview, Northview Harbor, The Farms, The Peninsula, etc...

If you wanna save on taxes (which I am sure upper class could care less about), stick to Catawba or Lincoln County.

One word of caution...while I do love The Point in Mooresville...Brawley School Rd is a nightmare for traffic. If you want to be closer to things & closer to Charlotte I would suggest The Peninsula in Cornelius or River Run (not on the lake but very close) in Davidson.

GOOD LUCK!

worse traffic compared to _________________? (insert city in blank)

We came from Ft.Lauderdale and the traffic on Brawley School is NOT that bad, granted its not great either. But they are widening it to 5 lanes which will ease it up some.

Only going by what a co-worker told me that lives in The Point. At least The Point is only about 1/2 ways down Brawley School Rd and not all the way at the tip (end).

They have been widening that road for a long time. They need to for emergency reasons especially. Only one way in and one way out. Gorgeous area though!

Default brawley

I live off Brawley and they have talking about widening it for a long time, but just recently started the process. They are just now putting up the new power lines. It really is not that bad...course it is all relative.

When we were looking around we were very impressed with the Peninsula. Very nice neighborhood feel, beautiful huge homes on the lake and a very fancy shmansy country club + yacht club. Convenient location near 77 and relatively close to Charlotte, Davidson College nearby.

Only problem was, we could barely afford to buy the cheapest home in the Peninsula (almost nothing under $500k) and then even if we bought a home in the Peninsula I couldn't afford to join the country club!!

So we reluctantly gave up that dream.

We were just in Cornelius a few days ago. The Peninsula is truly beautiful. Jetton Park is amazing right on the lake. The people we spoke to were very friendly. Loved it there!
