Default Blakeney Dental?

Does anyone have any experience with Blakeney Dental? They are covered by my insurance plan and didn't know if they were good or not (Dr. Ghim).

I can't speak to Blakeney Dental, but Advanced Dentistry of Blakeney is great, if your plan happens to include them. Dr. Betancourt is very friendly and approachable, and has a laser-sharp eye for x-rays. I hate going to the dentist with a passion, but even I think they're a great place and it's not so bad anymore.

Dr. B's hygienist is also awesome. After patiently lecturing me for 18 months about flossing she finally very sweetly told me I either needed to get (and use!) a Sonicare toothbrush or come in more often, since she knew that the chances of me flossing as regularly as she wanted were slim to none. I chose the Sonicare option, and my teeth have never been in better shape!

dr. phelps listens and spends time talking to you before sticking his hands in your mouth. i have had a couple fillings done last year and it went well.

Unfortunately their front office screws up a lot and we aren't going back - they even charged our credit card 9 months after we left for almost $300 they say they accidentally refunded us...no invoice, no letter - I had to convince the credit card company not to file charges. They messed up my crown and it had to be redone - they seemed like nice folks - but not yet well organized - very $$$$. My wife was told to get a root canal on the first visit - she never even gets cavities - she never went back....she still hasn't been told by any other dentist that she needed a root canal. I guess if I was asked - I wouldn't recommend them based on my experiences and I have never ever written something bad about any doctor or dentist before.

I went there, was not impressed at all. They were on my ins and closer to my home than my other dentist in South Park. Nice office but i had no cavities last year and my 1st visit to DR. Gim i needed 4 crowns.

Seemed real fishy since he was pushing me into the crowns so i went back to my old office. They said i had two small cavities. Its so hard to find a good office who doesn't try to cheat you. My wife was a Dental Assistant and has told me about how bad some of these doctors are.
