Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know of a good Toyota mechanic/shop in Charlotte. Preferably near the University Area, but not a requirement. Thank You!

We always got great service at Town & Country Toyota on South Blvd. I know it's not in your area, and you're dealer service isn't supposed to be that great, but they were really fabulous.

PS - We have over 150,000 miles on our van, so they must do something right.

We bought at and service our Camry at Lake Norman Toyota in Huntersville. The prices are typical dealer, but the website usually has coupons. An added benefit is that you can almost always get same day or next day appointments.

I always think it better to look for a specialized mechanic. meineke mufflers, aamco transmissions, for general diagnostics and tune up repairs and so on,for the great mysteries then you would need to find yourself an experienced mechanic

Thanks for the quick responses. This is for a friend, she's going to a place now, but there always seems to be something new that they are discovering. We're just trying to help her find a place that can tell her everything that needs to be done honestly.

I use Lake Norman Toyota .
They always treat me like I am royal there.
A little pricey due to it is a dealership as well.
I never been to a place that has valet service for auto repairs .
Nice. just another option

I need a shop for my 1997 4Runner - I find Town & Country Toyota OK, but expensive. Has anyone tried Toyota Techs in Fort Mill?

Default Let me do some digging

Recently bought my first toyota (a used 2004 highlander) because of the fact that every other car i see in charlotte is a Toyo. Was hoping to find several threads on it on here but alas! So has anyone found a good Ex *Toyota* master tech etc in the charlotte area? I did stumble upon toyota techs on the internet but no reviews. I am going to call them now to see what they quote for a 90K service so we can at least have some basis of comparison with the stealerships (typo.. my bad )

Default Too expensive (i guess on some things at least)!

Basic maintenance - 375. This includes: engine oil change (toyota oil), air filter, cabin filter, transmission oil change, tire rotation, break pads checking, fluids top up and hooking up to some machine to clean your fuel injectors. This package is TOO costly in my opinon because other than this fuel injector hook up, rest of the stuff is largely straightforward that any pep boys, AAAs, costcos or walmarts can hanldle

The 90k service for which they will do only timing belt + water pump is 550 out the door price, including parts, labor and tax etc. This is not that bad.
