I did it!! Xcaped from New Jersey!!
It finally happened! We just arrived at my sister in law's house on Lake Norman after a 2 day leisurely drive with 2 cars from New Jersey. We successfully sold our house and closed Friday May 30. We will close on our new home (new to us) in Birkdale on Wednesday. It is great to be here!!!  |

What part of Jersey did you come down from? I lived in Kearny a hundred years ago and still have family down the Shore. |

CONGRATS! We are from Union, NJ.
My husband & I closed on our home in Nov 2007 & made our definitive move here this past March. It has only been a few months, but we love it here so far & look forward to our first year of discovering all the seasons & charm of the Charlotte area!
