I have been out at night to Rudder and Midtown Sundries to visit the bar but if you had to pick one for dining which one has better food?

I know there are also some places in Mooresville?

We have relatives visiting soon and they want to eat on the lake. Is there anywhere else that is just the best?

I am thinking Rudder at this point because the atmosphere on the deck is nice but does anyone know how the food is or if another lake front restuarant blows them away?

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions, I don't think we are going to have time for the Catawba Queen though. We have a lot packed into a short time frame and they just want to stop in somewhere quickly and eat a casual dinner or lunch.

We live in Huntersville so Rudder and Midtown are the closest for us but if there was a place in Mooresville that blew them away we might make the drive. What I really want to know is if anyone has a preference on food between these two?

You're welcome! We love that place--if you're a crab cake fan, you have to at least get it as an appetizer, if not entree. I can also vouch for the beef carpaccio, spinach and artichoke dip, lobster chowder, wedg salad, tilapia, tuna, salmon, lamb, and filet.

You can tell I've never been there.
