What does everyone think about the whitewater center? I get the impression that it's a fun place to go for the day or even for the night. There is a bar there, right? What about restaurant? Is this a good place for a 20 something to go check out?

Don't know about a bar there...but there is a restaurant.

Nice place. They also offer rock climbing, bike trails and waling trails beside the whitewater activities.

Is it open at night? I don't think so.

I think it's worth going once, but I don't know why you'd get a season pass. Definitely not worth the money. I was expecting much more from the "world class" white water center, but instead I got to go in circles on class III rapids. It's not exactly a hang out spot either.

Just once so far, it was a neat time watching the sun go down there and sitting outside drinking beer

Does it cost anything just to see the concerts besides parking?

Nope, just pay for parking and whatever you are going to eat and drink. Just remember, the "concerts" aren't like a big production you'd see at the arena or anything - just little groups Still, I love ANY live music myself, even if I've never heard of the group.

Thanks Loves. I like small local productions better anyway. I'm sure my son will want to see some too, he loves music and has been looking for things like this in the area. Since he is only 18 and can't go to bars to see the local musicians this will be great for him.

Growing up, I always went to see smaller local bands in NoDA at The Evening Muse, The Neighborhood Theatre, and other various venues. Also, in Elizabeth, you can go to Visulite Theatre, and sometimes a couple other places around there.
