I was just curious if anyone here had knowledge or opinion about the real estate market in this area. I am a little worried with the slowing of things that my place is going to take a long time to sell.

That is a great area! But selling right now will depend a lot on your price and price range.

It's a 2 BR/2.5 Bath somewhere in the range of $215K so maybe this won't be as bad as trying to sell a house in the $400-$500K range right now. Thanks for the input.

Laura, you are in the price range that seems to be selling pretty well in Charlotte right now, good for you! Now you just need a good realtor

That is a great price point. You should be able to sell it faster than the $500 K and up properties. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Plus the area you are in should help you sell too. Close in neighborhoods usually sell fairly fast...things may be a little different now...but hopefully not.

GOD LUCK!

Plaza-Midwood is still seeing strong progress in home sales. As of today, the average days on the market of single family homes sold this quarter is aprox. 67 days and condos/townhomes aprox. 74 days.
It really depends on which complex your townhome is in, what you are asking, and how good (including knowledgable of the area) your real estate agent is.
I wouldn't worry.
