Please remember that there is an option for Pre-K in the UCPS system.

If your child doesn't qualify for any special services, you can still get in. The rate is $15/day and it goes from 8am-1pm M-F ($300/month).

It is a special needs class, but, for example, our neighbor's son is in the class and his special needs are fine motor skills delay. He has already learned a LOT there.....numbers, letters, writing, they read to them daily....in other words, it is VERY similar to the info they would get in any other preschool.
