Verizon | FiOS Internet (http://www22.verizon.com/Content/ConsumerFiOS/ - broken link)

I think it will be awhile before NC gets it though. The day it becomes available, I'll kiss Time-Warner goodbye! I use them for TV and internet but I have Vonage for phone service. Their 911 setup works fine for me.
Emissary, they keep offering me deals to sign up. I want FiOS so badly........ but what's the point?

southbound_295 - Not much, if you'll soon be joining us in the Sweet, Sunny South soon! - an alliteration! I put my brother's phone number (Garfield) and my sister's pn (Hackensack) in and they can both get it. I'm soo... jealous. By the time we get it here, I'll be in the early stages of Alzheimer's due to advanced old age. I wish NC for once, could be on the leading edge of technology for once, instead of the back forty! Any Day Now - Any Day......

Keep putting your phone number in there & have everyone you know in NC do it. I'll do it when I get there. They'll see interest. Can't hurt.

I was looking in a new development in Union County and they were promoting Fiber to the Home (FTTH) service w/ Windstream. Isnt this the same as Verizon's FIOS? Anyone has this service w/ Windstream?

Does it have a TV service option that is not Dish, or is it only Dish.

Ani, AT&T's Call Center/Centre in Bangalore should be able to help you if you have a few hours to stay on hold. "Todd," "Kevin," and "Chad" have always been very courteous and helpful to me.

We are happy with Vonage but we are using a Magic Jack now too. Check it out!!

Hi, Solnechko! I have seen "Magic Jack" advertised and was wondering about it!!! So glad you mentioned it!!!

Oh, forgot to mention - Cable Service w/ Time Warner and not happy w/ that either. Paying too much and continual service issues (for nearly six years). So I am interested in that, too.

As for DSL, have it w/ BellSouth and it appears that is now the "new AT&T" too. It is coming in on the same bill, anyway. So I am open to completely restructuring everything.

If you're interested, I can Email you an invitation that gets you 2 months free. Good luck with the search!
Hi there, Hoagie! I really appreciate the offer, and I may be taking you up on it. This sure is confusing and I need all the help I can get. Really appreciate it!!!!

Don't think they have the infrastructure yet. When Mi-Connection (government cable) completes their improvements to the infrastructure, it will include FiOs I think, then at that time maybe Verizon FiOs will be available.
