Default Home school

Hello everyone
I am a certified school teacher in Charlotte. During my career at CMS I have seen so many things that can be done better in a home school setting. Therfore I have decided to start a home school support group in Charlotte. The teachers in this group will help the home school children whose parents are less educated or work or cannot have tutoring help or demos/labs or standardized testing when they need it. Our intention is to provide more interactive environment with minimum loss of time for their education, I am having difficuty in locating home school students, if anyone can help me with some I would really appreciate.
Thank you
SYR

There are quite a few homeschool support groups and co-ops in the Charlotte area. Do a search on google and/or at yahoogroups. Most are religious based, but you'll find secular groups also. Those groups will lead you to local homeschooling families.

Good luck!

Is it really a business, or just a support group?

(Also, that's a zombie post from over 2 years ago!)

I realize the OP is OVER two years old, but...

Another great source is Grace Academy in Matthews.
Offering certified teachers who teach individual classes that parents might not be able to cover (foreign languages, etc). Everything is a la carte.

NO connection with the establishment, yada, yada, yada- just FYI.
