While visiting my father at the hospital in FL many years ago they had the same thing happen. There was a brush fire hours away. My 4 year old son who has asthma wound up in the hospital for 6 days then we flew back to NJ. It was his his most severe attack ever. At least my son and dad where in the same hospital.

And some animals they mentioned that they were keeping an eye on and found to be ok so far were the red wolf, a type of woodpecker and I forgot the last one.

I am a huge wildlife fan, so always have thoughts for those that did not make it in these wildfires.

Ok, well maybe not so much with bats these days.
The bats must knew before hand fire was coming so they took shelter in your home

I know some wildfires is actually good for the wildlife. but wow this was massive. I wonder in situations like this did some know to leave. Like some animals react when they since a storm is coming. I would like to find the part of a pine cone that is fire resistent that has seeds so it will grow again . It neat that God did this.

I look at today and think back that I wish I study to be a park ranger. It might have been because I watch Mutual of Omaha on Sundays before the muppets. My mom says I can still do it but I still hate school.
Wildlife is so unique in how everything plays on each other.

I want to go to the lake and kayak tomorrow I hope the air is not as thick as it was when I was in the triangle.
