My husband and I are trying to relocate to Charlotte but have not had much luck with the job hunt. Does anyone know of a good recruiter for civil engineering? I would love any feedback and help. We have been at this for several months but either the jobs are entry level or they are marketing which is not what he does. He is into project mgmt. / road design (10 years experience) Thanks for the help.

What companies have you looked at? Have you tried Duke Energy? Shaw? Does your husband have a PE designation?

Try the City of Charlotte. There are usually 3 or 4 civil positions open at any time...not because of turn over, but because of the size of the City.
