I'm sorry that you all get offended by me saying that Charlotte lacks culture, but if you peep around this forum....I am not the only one who feels this way. Something to ponder on. And thank you all for respecting my opinion. Sorry that it doesn't sit well with everyone, but i can't change how i feel. No disrespect intended. It's simply MY OPINION. That said....where's the Arroz Con Pollo!

My house! I make my own! YUM!!!

PJ - your opinion is respected. I think sometimes it is all a matter of semantics, anyway. You want some variety in your life . . . including entertainment, music, food and people to hang with. Nothing wrong w/ that.

You still didn't answer my question: what is your definition of culture?

Carolina.....I think you may have taken the time to define culture in one of your threads. No?

I guess I'll take your answer to mean the following:

Culture is defined by the extent by which Puerto Rican people, arts, music, and food is represented in a society. If any of these parameters are absent, then that society does not have culture.

Thanks for the clarification.

If Charlotte's culture resembled the "culture" that I witnessed in Puerto Rico, I'd move. Tomorrow.
