All I can tell you is this, that is a great area and prices won't stay that affordable over there for long. AND, MI is a great builder with an excellent local reputation.

I think both of those builders build good homes. I just sold an Eastwood home in Crismark, and the issues on inspection were very minor. So far they have been very accommodating, but I suppose only time will tell Will keep everyone posted on this.

The lots are very narrow but it's good for people who don't like yard maitance.
The prices have already increased a bit since they started that subdivision. When they started the MI Ashwood plan sold for like 205k in early 2006 now it's at 230k base price. They have increments of 2k a month according to Debbie Mullings, yet sometimes they increase the price at 5K depending if they sold a whole lot more. Eastwood started in the 160s now their lowest is 190s and the lowest for MI is about 198k. Not bad they sold a Ashwood inventory home with upgrades for 250 already. You jsut have to look at the nearby DR horton "Steele Creek Landing" started at 140's in late 2005 and now the homes start in the 220's. It has to do with the big shopping area with the Target opening up. It's close to different roads.
